Thanks so much to Linda for hosting the weekly challenge. It’s like taking a weekly art course and makes getting out of bed on a Monday a little more interesting. The challenge was a found object and a niche, back 3 years to this Tim Holtz challenge.
So, here’s what came out of the old craft cupboard: I’ve had this grungy old pin for years, a thrift store find. I matched it up with 7 Gypsies Lille. Love this collection. Red is the new black, but only if you put it with black?? I also tried out the technique from GM 04 and used some bits from that.
This is my first blog, first post, first challenge EVER. What fun!

WOW! First post, first challenge... I wish I had a prize for you, your creation is so much fun! I am a crown lover and I also like the paper collection you chose. I find the way you collaged all your elements around the crown in the niche make your art piece shine! bravo!
